Amid rising tensions in West Asia, the Israeli Air Force (IAF) on Sunday released a major update on the attack on Iran. Israel has claimed to have destroyed an Iranian drone storage site in air strikes. The IAF claimed that Iran suffered heavy losses as well as lost some of its soldiers in this attack.

Air Force took action based on intelligence information

According to IAF, the Air Force has carried out this action on the basis of intelligence information. This Iranian drone storage site was built inside a launch site in western Iran. According to the IAF, after this attack an atmosphere of panic was created among the Iranian soldiers present on the spot. The soldiers who were running here and there to defend themselves after the attack were also tracked down by Israeli fighter planes, targeted and killed.

The IAF wrote on its official social media account ‘X’, ‘Special information from Western Iran: As part of the ongoing operation in the area, the IDF, based on accurate and real-time intelligence, attacked a drone storage site created within a launch site in Western Iran from an Air Force aircraft. Following the attack on the storage site, the Air Force identified Iranian regime soldiers who had fled the launch site. After this, Air Force aircraft tracked them and killed them in separate attacks.

Huge loss of life and property in Iran

Iran is suffering huge loss of life and property in the continuous attacks. According to data released by Iran, so far 202 children and 223 women have died in the US-Israel attack. In a statement issued by Iran’s Health Ministry, it was said that at least 202 children and 223 women, including three pregnant women, have been killed in the US-Israel attacks.

We did not target residential areas – Araghchi

Iran’s Foreign Minister’s Telegram channel quoted him in an interview with Al-Arabi Al-Jadeed website as saying that Tehran is in talks with the Gulf countries and would welcome any initiative that could guarantee an end to the US-Israeli war on Iran. Abbas Araghchi stressed that Iran has not targeted civilians or residential areas in West Asia. He said Tehran was ready to form a committee with its neighbors to find out who was responsible for such attacks.
