Police has solved the mystery of the sensational murder that took place in ‘Uncle Gali’ of Dwarkapuri police station area of Indore. In connection with the decomposed body of the girl found in the flat four days later, the police have arrested her lover Piyush Dhamnotia from Mumbai. The revelations made by the accused who was caught by the police during interrogation are shocking. The reasons for the murder are said to be doubt over character and an ongoing dispute regarding marriage.
According to DCP Krishna Lalchandani, the deceased and the accused Piyush were friends since college and were in a relationship for a long time. It was Piyush who had rented that flat in Dwarkapuri. On the day of the incident, both of them had reached the flat to resolve their mutual dispute. There, first there was a physical relationship between the two, but after some time a fight started again over the issue of marriage and doubts over their character.
Ran away after locking the flat
Piyush suspected that his girlfriend talks to other boys through mobile apps. In this anger he strangled his girlfriend. The extent of brutality was that after killing, he even tied the dead body with a rope. After the incident, he remained sitting near the dead body for a long time and then locked the flat and ran away.
Tantric ritual in hotel room
After committing the murder, Piyush’s mental condition had become very strange. He fled from Indore and reached Panvel in Maharashtra. Investigation revealed that he took a room in a hotel there and continued performing ‘Tantric activities’ throughout the night. He also tried to call the ‘spirit’ of the deceased in the hotel room. After this, he reached Mumbai to escape from the police and kept wandering in local trains throughout the night. To destroy the evidence, he had also destroyed the mobile phone of the deceased. At present the police is strictly interrogating the accused.
