Indore: Doctor received threat call after complaining about stray dog, threat given in the name of ‘Dawood’ gang

Complaining about a street dog in Indore, Madhya Pradesh proved costly for a doctor. Dr. Neeraj, assistant manager of a private hospital, being troubled by the increasing incidents of dog bites, had complained to the rescue team of the Municipal Corporation to catch the stray dog ​​roaming in the hospital premises.

After the complaint, the rescue team reached the spot and caught the dog and took it with itself. But after this action, the matter became serious when a person claiming to be associated with the gang called Dr. Neeraj and threatened him. The caller tried to scare the conversation by saying, “Once Dawood ji speaks, it should be understood… How old are you, might you be married, might you have children… There is no need to say much.”

Describing himself as being associated with the gang of notorious underworld don Dawood Ibrahim, the accused warned of dire consequences. The audio of this entire incident has now surfaced, in which the threat can be heard clearly. Although in the initial investigation of the police, this call is being considered as fake, but considering the seriousness of the matter, the police has started investigation.

Police are also investigating whether the caller actually has connections to any gang or it is just an act to scare.
