Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke to UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan on phone and took information about the situation and expressed India’s solidarity. In the post, PM Modi said that he spoke to UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed. During this, he has strongly condemned the attacks on UAE and expressed deep sorrow for the people who lost their lives in these attacks. He said that India stands firmly with the UAE in this difficult time.

Thanked the President of UAE
During this, Prime Minister Modi also said that he thanked the President for taking care of the Indian community living in UAE. A large number of Indian citizens work and live in UAE, hence the Government of India is in constant touch regarding their safety. Prime Minister Modi also said in his message that India supports peace, security and stability in the region. He stressed on de-escalation and said that all parties should work together towards maintaining peace.
What is the condition of Indian citizens?
However, regarding Indian people living in UAE, the Indian Embassy in Abu Dhabi said that the Indian citizen injured in the attack is safe after treatment in the hospital. The Embassy is in constant touch with the hospital administration and local authorities. The mission said that all possible assistance is being provided to the injured Indian and the situation is being constantly monitored.
How much damage was caused in the attack in UAE?
According to the UAE Defense Ministry, three people were killed in the attacks by Iran while a total of 58 people were slightly injured. The injured include citizens of many countries, including Indian citizens. During the attacks, property was damaged at many places due to falling debris and explosions.
How many missiles and drones were fired?
Along with this, UAE Army said that large-scale attacks were carried out by Iran. So far, 165 ballistic missiles, two cruise missiles and 541 drones have been fired. Of these, 506 drones were shot down in the air, while 35 drones fell within the country and caused limited damage. Security agencies continued to prevent air attacks.
