New Delhi. Thanks to Dhruv Jurle’s unbeaten 113 runs, India A scored 403 runs for four wickets on the third day of the first informal Test against Australia A released in Lucknow. Jurael has hit 10 fours and four sixes in his 132 -ball innings. N Jagdishan (64), B Sai Sudarshan (73) and Devdutt Padikkal (86 not out) scored half -centuries. However, captain Shreyas Iyer (08) failed.

India A is still lagging behind by 129 runs from Australia A, which declared 532 runs for six wickets from the century of Sam Constas (109) and Josh Philip (123). Now only one day’s game is left and this match is moving towards a draw. Both teams will play the second four-day informal Test at the Ekana Stadium from 23-26 September, after which a three-match ODI series will be played in Kanpur.

Most of the runs in this partnership were scored by Tamil Nadu left -handed batsman Sudarshan who made his Test debut in England. However, he fell off Konoli in the 59th over of the innings. Jurael and Padikkal then handled the innings and did not allow the bowlers of the team to achieve more success till the stumps. Jurael and Padikkal have shared an unwavering partnership of 181 runs for the fifth wicket. Padikal has hit eight fours in his innings of 178 balls.
