Faced with many problems even after coming out of ICU

According to Dr. Anirban Home Chaudhary, head of the Department of Critical Care Medicine, after coming out of the ICU, many patients have to face physical weakness, memory related problems or other complications. In such a situation, lack of systematic follow-up services was being felt for a long time. This initiative is an important step towards removing that deficiency. This new facility was inaugurated today on 14th March by Dr. Sandeep Bansal, Director of Safdarjung Hospital. Medical Superintendent of the hospital, Dr. Charu Bamba was also present in the program. Along with this, all the Additional Medical Superintendents and members of the Critical Care Medicine team were also present on the occasion.

The hospital administration believes that this clinic will improve the recovery process of patients returning home after recovering from ICU. Regular follow-up and expert advice will help prevent patients from potential complications and improve their quality of life.
