T20 World Cup 2026, Group A points table: In the ICC T20 World Cup, Pakistan team has achieved its second consecutive win and has topped Group A, leaving India behind in the points table. Pakistan defeated America by 32 runs and took the top spot and left India behind. At the same time, Netherlands has secured third place by registering a spectacular victory over Namibia by 7 wickets. Pakistan had defeated Netherlands in the opening match of the tournament. Maintaining the winning streak, they also registered a win against America.
Sahibzada Farhan and Pakistan’s spin bowling led to victory
Sahibzada Farhan took Pakistan to the score of 9 wickets for 190 runs. He scored 73 runs in 41 balls and made important partnerships of 54 and 81 runs with Saim Ayub and Babar Azam. Netherlands made a tremendous comeback
Netherlands made a brilliant comeback against Namibia in the second group match after a close defeat to Pakistan in their first match. Batting first, they scored 156 runs for 8 wickets. On the basis of Bas De Leede’s brilliant inning of 72 runs and 32 runs scored by Colin Ackerman, the team opened its points account by achieving the target of victory by losing only 3 wickets in 18 overs.
