Usman Tariq has a domestic category-1 contract with PCB. In this, the salary is very less compared to the central contract, but Tariq earns well from match fees and domestic Premier League. Still this is very less compared to India.

Osman Tariq
Usman Tariq left his job as a salesman in July 2021 and came to Pakistan from Dubai. He worked hard, listened to the taunts of his family members, even saw his mother’s tears and through all this he became such an off-spinner who is the main weapon of Pakistani bowling today. This was also visible in the match against Namibia where Usman took 4 wickets for just 16 runs in 3.3 overs.
When Usman worked in Dubai, he was associated with a real estate firm. Usman left his job for cricket. Now apart from PSL, he is earning a lot of money by playing Pakistan’s domestic cricket and international matches. PCB also gives a fixed salary to Usman Tariq. Usman does not have any central contract with the board, but PCB has signed him under Domestic Category-1. PCB has kept 40 players in this category, who are paid approximately 5.5 lakh Pakistani rupees, while a good amount of money is given in the central contract of PCB. However, Usman earns well from match fees.

Usman Tariq gets 5.5 lakh Pakistani rupees under domestic contract from PCB. If seen from India’s point of view, this is very less. If we look at it in terms of 1 lakh rupees, then 1 lakh rupees of Pakistan is approximately 32500 rupees of India. Apart from this, if we talk about central contract, then Pakistan gives Rs 30 lakh per month to its B category players i.e. approximately Rs 3 lakh 60 lakh, whereas India gives Rs 5 crore to its second grade players, which in Pakistani rupees will be around Rs 15.5 crore.
In Pakistan, Usman Tariq is given Rs 5.5 lakh per month by the board. Usman is also playing for Pakistan’s T-20 team, for which he is paid approximately 4 lakh 18 thousand 524 Pakistani rupees for every match. If he is seen in Test team and ODI team in future, then he will get 12 lakh 57 thousand 795 Pakistani rupees for each match in Test and 6 lakh 44 thousand Pakistani rupees for ODI. In domestic cricket, 6 lakh 28 thousand Pakistani rupees will be available for each 4-day match, 3 lakh 22 thousand for ODI and 2 lakh 9 thousand Pakistani rupees for T-20. Apart from this, Usman plays for Quetta Gladiators in PSL and Trinbago Knight Riders in Caribbean Premier League.
