A painful accident has come to light near Bhabanagar in Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh. Where two youths died after falling into a ditch in Det Sungra area near Bhabanagar (Nichar). After this, the local police and fire brigade conducted a rescue operation, in which the body of one youth was recovered from a 30 feet deep ditch and the other from a 120 feet deep ditch.
One deceased was found 30 feet down and the other deceased was found 120 feet down.
The first deceased has been identified as Ankit, 36 years old (resident of Bhavanagar, Nichar). Ankit’s body was found in a ditch about 30 feet below. The second deceased has been identified as Sanjeev, 27, (resident of Panvi), whose body was found about 120 feet below. This accident has come to light near NH-5, Temporary Colony, near Bhavanagar, Kinnaur.
The accident happened around 6 pm on Sunday evening. It is being told that both the youths first sat and drank alcohol, after which there was an argument between them over some issue, which turned into a scuffle. During this time, both the youths fell into the ditch below the road, and both died.
A case of drunken fight came to light
The police have registered a case, removed the bodies from the spot and sent them for post-mortem and are also investigating the matter. There is a wave of mourning in the area due to this tragic incident. Although prima facie the case appears to be a fight due to drinking, still the police is trying to find out what was the reason behind the accident. The true reasons will be known only after the investigation report comes out.
