Political activity has already intensified in Himachal Pradesh for the assembly elections to be held in the year 2027. The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), which is trying to establish itself as a strong ‘third option’ in the state, has started its strategic preparations for the upcoming elections.

The party has made a big announcement and made it clear that it will contest the elections with full strength on all the 68 assembly seats of Himachal Pradesh. In this series, a huge workers’ conference is being organized in Mandi on March 22, in which former Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi and senior ‘AAP’ leader Manish Sisodia will specially participate and will energize the workers.

Election conch sound will be made from Mandi on March 22

Under the leadership of Aam Aadmi Party’s Himachal Pradesh in-charge Rituraj Jha, the party has been engaged in a campaign to strengthen its organization at the grassroots level in the state for the last 10 months. Under this, committees are being formed in the entire state up to the block level, so that the party’s reach up to the booth level can be ensured. Under this strategy of organization expansion, the party is now going to organize a series of worker conferences in all the districts of the state. The conference to be held in Mandi on March 22 is an important step in this direction.

Emphasis on expanding the organization to village and block level

During a special press conference held in Shimla, senior Aam Aadmi Party leader from Hamirpur Jagat Ram spoke openly on the current political situation of the state. He said that the people of Himachal Pradesh are now completely fed up with both the parties, Congress and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). The people of the state want change and the Aam Aadmi Party is trying to fill this void and emerge as a third option.

Preparation to become ‘third option’ in Himachal

Jagat Ram said that today the biggest disappointment in Himachal Pradesh is among the retired employees and unemployed youth, who are feeling cheated by the system. He expressed confidence that if it gets public support in the upcoming elections, the party will try to form an honest government in Himachal Pradesh on the lines of neighboring Punjab. Manish Sisodia’s Mandi visit is being considered as the trumpet of Aam Aadmi Party’s election campaign in the state.
