Arvind Kejriwal in Gujarat: Aam Aadmi Party national convenor Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab CM Bhagwant Singh Mann, who were on Gujarat tour, launched a strong attack on the secret alliance of BJP and Congress by holding ‘Vijay Vishwas Sabha’ in Dahod. Addressing the gathering at the gathering, Arvind Kejriwal said that the people of Gujarat have stood up against the oppression of BJP and are going to bring about change with the Aam Aadmi Party.
Seeing the increasing public support of Aam Aadmi Party, BJP is scared and is arresting our workers every day. He said that in 30 years the BJP government has not been able to provide good schools, hospitals and even water for agriculture because their intentions are bad. This time the public will vote for free electricity for farms and houses, health insurance of Rs 1000 to women, Rs 10 lakh and good schools.
Atrocities and loot against tribal society-AAP
Arvind Kejriwal said, “In the last 30 years, BJP along with Congress has looted Gujarat. They have looted the tribals the most and have tortured them. Gujarat has the most backward and exploited tribal community. There is no provision for education and employment of children. Children do farming out of compulsion but the BJP government has made the condition of farmers worse as well.”
He said that the central and state governments send billions of rupees every year for the welfare of the tribal society. If all the money received for the welfare of tribal society in the last 30 years was given directly to each person, then every person would have become a millionaire. But the money coming in the name of tribal society goes into the pockets of BJP and Congress people.
BJP people also ate NREGA money – AAP
Arvind Kejriwal said, “In NREGA, the poorest person works hard in the scorching heat. He gets money for only 100 jobs. These people also ate the MNREGA money by entering the names of the workers. The workers are not even aware that their names have been stamped.” AAP MLA raised voice against looting of MNREGA money.
When he asked to show the register, the BJP government caught him and put him in jail. The BJP government minister who stole NREGA money was not put in jail because he sent the money to the top. Chaitra Vasava remained in jail for three months for getting the rights of the poor. Similarly, billions of rupees come into the tap water scheme, but no one got tap water in their house. BJP people ate all this money also.
Ignoring the future of government schools and children – AAP
Arvind Kejriwal said, “With the votes of common people, BJP-Congress people become MLAs and ministers, their children study abroad and there are no proper government schools for the children of common people. When they fall ill, they go abroad for treatment and their children also get MLA tickets, but the children of a common man have no future.
The common man votes for himself, not for them. The BJP government committed the most atrocities against the tribal community. They snatched away water, forests and land from the tribal community. Police and forest department people also harass us. Today, most FIRs are registered against people of tribal community.”
Change like Punjab in Gujarat too – AAP
Arvind Kejriwal said, “Before 2022, the situation in Punjab was similar to that of Gujarat. There were only two parties in Punjab, Congress, BJP and Akali alliance. Both the parties used to form the government alternately for 5 years and both used to loot together. Like Gujarat, there were joint ventures of Congress-BJP in Punjab. The people of Punjab were fed up. During this time, Aam Aadmi Party brought a hope in Punjab.
The people of Punjab decided to sweep the old parties and uproot them. In the 2022 assembly elections, the people of Punjab completely wiped out Congress, BJP and Akali Dal by giving 92 seats out of 117 to Aam Aadmi Party. Now Gujarat also has a good opportunity to clean up Congress and BJP by using the broom.”
Free electricity for farmers, relief in bills – AAP
Arvind Kejriwal said, “There is Aam Aadmi Party government in Punjab for the last four years. Our party does not make big promises, but gives guarantees. Other parties make false promises. We will not make big claims, but what we have done in Punjab, we will do the same in Gujarat. There is a farmers’ government in Punjab and the farmer’s son is the Chief Minister. Bhagwant Mann knows the pain of the farmers.
The first thing Bhagwant Mann did to provide happiness and prosperity to the farmers was to make electricity for their farming free. Now farmers get free electricity during the day to irrigate their fields through tube wells and do not have to pay bills. But in Gujarat, farmers have to pay electricity bills for irrigation of their fields. To provide free electricity for agriculture, remove BJP and form a broom government.”
Status of Government Hospitals and Health Insurance-AAP
Arvind Kejriwal said, “In Punjab, farmers get the money for their crops within 24 hours. But in Gujarat, they do not get the money for many months. The Punjab government buys all the crops of the farmers who come to the market. Earlier in Punjab, only 20 percent of the fields were irrigated with canal water and today 78 percent is being irrigated. Even after 30 years in Gujarat, BJP has not been able to provide water for irrigation. Even in the next 20 years, these people will not be able to provide water because of their The intentions are bad. If the farmers are happy then Gujarat is also happy.
The second thing the AAP government did was to provide health insurance up to Rs 10 lakh to every family. Now common people in Punjab will also get free treatment in those big hospitals where the Chief Minister gets his treatment. Today government hospitals in Gujarat are lying in ruins. Medicines are not available in the hospital, tests are not done. Private hospitals cost lakhs of rupees. Health insurance of Rs 10 lakh should be available in Gujarat also. But for this BJP will have to be driven away and the broom will have to be brought in.”
Home electricity should also be free – AAP
Arvind Kejriwal said, “BJP and Congress people are opposing Rs 10 lakh insurance. They say that there is a government hospital for the poor. They will get into bad habits. When the CM, Minister and MLA get free treatment, then the farmers should get free treatment. Apart from this, the AAP government has also made the electricity for the house along with farming free. Earlier, even a small house used to get bill of thousands of rupees, but now the bill is zero.
Today the most expensive electricity in the entire country is in Gujarat. Congress-BJP people also opposed providing free electricity. They are saying that Bhagwant Mann government is wasting money on the poor and is inculcating the habit of freebies. If the electricity of their Chief Minister, Minister, MLA, MP is free then the electricity of common houses should also be free.”
Appeal to the public, form AAP government – AAP
Arvind Kejriwal said, AAP government provided free electricity to farmers and households, provided health insurance of Rs 10 lakh and then gave Rs 1,000 per month to women. Teachers from government schools are sent abroad and trained. Form AAP government in Gujarat, we will make the future of your children. Apart from Kejriwal, no other leader can talk about educating your children and building their future.”
AAP is a staunchly honest party – AAP
Arvind Kejriwal said, “Earlier the budget of Punjab used to be in deficit. All the parties used to say that the government has no money, the government has become poor, but we have ended all the corruption and bribery. Due to this, the government has got a lot of money and with that money roads are being built, electricity is coming, people are getting all the facilities. Now there is no shortage of money in Punjab.
When CM Bhagwant Mann accused him of corruption, he put his own party’s MLA in jail. This does not happen in other parties. Rather, if the Chief Minister comes to know about it, he demands his share from the MLA. If any of our relatives commit corruption or betray the public, he will go straight to jail. Aam Aadmi Party is the only staunchly honest party in the entire country.”
Made false allegations against us, but the court said Kejriwal is staunchly honest – AAP

In Punjab, a farmer brings his crop to the market and on the same day his crop is weighed and sold. By the time the farmer reaches home with his tractor-trolley, a message comes on his mobile that the money for today’s crop has been credited to his account.”
Bhagwant Mann told that in Punjab we have provided life insurance of Rs 10 lakh to every family. People can go to any big hospital and show their card and the Punjab government will pay the bill of Rs 5 or 7 lakh. Now no person in Punjab can be deprived of his treatment due to lack of money.
He said that BJP people have been looting the people of Gujarat for 30 years. BJP people are saying that Aam Aadmi Party can hold as many rallies as it wants, they have money and they will get votes by giving money to the people.
