GST New Slab: Ramdas Athawale’s big statement, ‘Prime Minister Modi took many decisions in 11 years but …’

On low GST rates, Union Minister Ramdas Athawale said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has taken many decisions in his 11 years. But this decision to reduce GST will take the country’s economy to new heights. He retaliated on social media posts regarding GST of Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge. Athawale said that if the money will not be taken from the public, then how will the government run?

Everyone wanted the same tax- eagle

The Union Minister alleged that the Congress party remained in power for 60-70 years, during that time there were many taxes. Along with this, the Union Minister appreciated the decision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi regarding GST and said that this will further strengthen the economy. He said, “I think 55 lakh crore rupees have been taken from the public, if the money will not be taken from the public, then how will the government run? Mallikarjun Kharge’s Congress party remained in power for 60-70 years. Even then they used to take money, so many taxes were levied at that time. So corporates and everyone wanted that only one tax should be done. GST did not come after our government’s tenure.

Kharge wants to discredit the government- Athawale

He further said, “If money does not come from people and corporates, then where will the money come from in the government’s budget?” The budget of this year is a budget of Rs 50 lakh 65 crore. I think the government runs only by taking money from people. Therefore, the allegations that Mallikarjun Kharge are making is not right at all. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has taken a very good decision regarding GST. Mallikarjun Kharge wants to discredit the government. ”

PM appealed to promote ‘Made in India’- Athawale

Union Minister Athawale also said, “PM Narendra Modi Has appealed to the people of the country in his speech on tomorrow (21 September) to buy the goods of ‘Made in India’. During the British rule, there was a movement to adopt indigenous things. Similarly, PM Modi has given a message that Made in India should be promoted. I think it will also be good to provide employment to crores of youth of the country. By taking a decision on GST, the PM has given a big gift to the countrymen.

What did Mallikarjun Kharge say?

Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge wrote in an X post regarding PM Modi’s address on GST reforms, “Nine hundred mice, the cat went to Haj. Instead of the simple and efficient GST of PM Modi, PM Modi’s government recovered ‘Gabbar Singh Tax’ from different 9 slabs and recovered more than Rs 55 lakh crore in 8 years. “
