Gautam Gambhir hosts special dinner for Team India: The Indian cricket team reached Delhi on Sunday for its second match of the T20 World Cup. Team India’s head coach Gautam Gambhir organized a special dinner for the players at his home. All the players reached their homes directly from Mumbai. The Indian team won its first match against USA while India will play the second match against Namibia on 12th February in Delhi.

New Delhi. Indian cricket team head coach Gautam Gambhir organized a special dinner at his Delhi residence on Sunday. This dinner was organized before the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup match against Namibia on 12 February at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi. Vice President of the Board of Control for Cricket in India, Rajeev Shukla also reached Gambhir’s residence. Reigning champion India won its first group stage match against America by 29 runs at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on 7 February. Gambhir welcomed the Indian team with his wife Natasha and children.
The Indian team has started the T20 World Cup with a win. Team India defeated America in its first match. This match was played at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. India batted first in this match. India’s top order flopped in front of American bowlers. Later, Suryakumar Yadav played a brilliant inning and took Team India’s score to a respectable score.
The Indian team had scored 161 runs for 9 wickets in 20 overs in the match played on 8 February. Captain Suryakumar played a brilliant unbeaten inning of 84 runs on 49 balls. Wicketkeeper-batsman Ishan Kishan (20 runs from 16 balls, including one four and two sixes) and Tilak Verma (25 runs from 16 balls, including three fours and one six) also contributed with the bat. Shadley Van Schalkwyk (4/29) and Harmeet Singh (2/26) were among the wicket-taking bowlers from America.
