There is now anger among Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwarananda’s followers over the allegations of sexual exploitation made by Ashutosh Brahmachari. The women who came to meet at the monastery of Shankaracharya in Varanasi became emotional over the allegations against Avimukteshwaranand and called it a conspiracy. He said that raising his voice against cow slaughter and speaking against the government proved costly for him. Not only this, he said that the person who is making these allegations already has many serious allegations against him.
While talking to ABP News in the monastery, most of the women became emotional and started crying. According to her, she has been coming to the Math for the last 15 to 20 years and has never seen anything like this. Such a disgusting allegation should not have been made against Shankaracharya ji. These are allegations beyond imagination.

Shankaracharya meets his devotees at Swami Avimukteshwaranand Math and answers their religious questions. Even today, about half a dozen women had come to meet him and all of them are deeply hurt by the allegations against him. A woman said that such a saint does not exist in the whole world at present. One should have thought a thousand times before making such allegations. Told that she had been coming to Swamiji for 20 years and had never seen anything like this. They are as transparent as water. We will never accept these allegations.

Let us tell you here that Shankaracharya Avimukteshwaranand has been accused of sexual exploitation of minor children in the special POCSO court of Prayagraj. This complaint has been made by Ashutosh Brahmachari. There are also allegations against his disciple Mukundanand. It has been alleged that children were exploited during the Magh Mela. In this case, FIR has been registered on the orders of the court and investigation is going on. Whereas Shankaracharya has denied all the allegations and called it a conspiracy.
