UP CM Yogi Adityanath Big news has come to light amidst the uproar regarding the controversial comment on the mother. An FIR has been registered in Balrampur against Maulana Salim who gave the controversial statement.
This action was taken on the complaint of Balrampur BJP District President, while complaints have also been lodged against Maulana in 83 police stations across Uttar Pradesh. Hindu organizations, social workers, BJP officials and students have demanded strict action from the police and warned that if arrests are not made soon, a big demonstration will be held.
What is the whole matter?
The case started when a statement by Maulana Abdullah Salim of Bihar went viral on social media. In this statement, he had made alleged controversial remarks about Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s mother. After the video surfaced, many organizations and people lodged a strong protest, calling it an insult to the Chief Minister’s mother.
After the viral video, this issue became widely discussed and sharp reactions were also seen on social media. Many Hindu organizations, social workers, BJP officials and students demanded immediate action from the police administration. It was also warned that if arrests are not made soon, a large scale agitation will be carried out.
Protest and hoarding in Lucknow
After the controversy escalated, protests started in the capital Lucknow also. In protest, hoardings were put up at many places in Hazratganj area of the city, in which it was written that “Hindu society will not tolerate the insult of Yogi ji’s mother”. Some posters also demanded strict action against Maulana. On March 7, youth gathered at Atal Chowk and demonstrated against Maulana Abdullah Salim. Slogans were raised during the demonstration and his effigy was also burnt. The protesters remained adamant on demanding early arrest and strict action from the administration.
