There has been firing on former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir Farooq Abdullah. According to information received from the police, there was firing at a program. Deputy CM Surinder Chaudhary was also present along with Farooq Abdullah. At present one person has been arrested.
Farooq Abdullah narrowly escaped the firing. According to the information received, Farooq Abdullah had gone to attend a wedding in Greater Kailash area of Jammu when the firing took place. The shooter has been arrested by the police and is being interrogated.
