
A young man died on the spot due to electrocution from a high tension line in a moving bus in Siddharthnagar, UP, while three people including the conductor of the bus were injured in the incident. Local people sent the injured to the hospital for treatment with the help of an ambulance, where the injured are undergoing treatment. The police have taken the body into their custody and sent it for post-mortem, and are also taking further legal action in the matter.
According to the information received regarding the incident, this case has come to light from Karoda Nankar village in Chilhiya police station area of ​​Siddharthnagar district. It was told that on Sunday, March 15, in the afternoon, the moving bus got electrocuted by an 11,000 volt wire hanging above the road. In the incident, Shyamsundar (60), son of Satai, resident of Lakhanpara village, died on the spot.
The bus was going to Ayodhya with the dead body
According to the information, Ramnaresh, father of Rampradas, resident of Lakhanpara of Shohratgarh police station area, died on Saturday night. Ram Prasad had booked a bus to take his father’s body to Ayodhya and today on Sunday, about 70 people boarded the bus and left for Ayodhya to perform the last rites of the body.
Accident while giving side to pickup vehicle
It was told that as soon as the bus reached Karuda Nankar village of Chilhiya police station area, while giving side to the pickup coming from the front, it touched the high voltage wire hanging above the road. Due to this, an electric current passed through the bus, after which the people sitting in the bus started getting electric shocks. The people sitting in the bus somehow saved their lives by jumping.
One person died, several injured in the incident
Hearing the screams of the people traveling in the bus, nearby people reached the spot to help. Local people moved the wire to the side of the bus, but by then Shyamsundar (60), son of Satai, resident of Lakhanpara village, who was sitting in the bus, had died. In this accident, Jagdish (34) son of Ramnaresh, Ram Anjor Sahni (55) son of Sudama and bus conductor Sagar resident of Dumariyaganj got burnt and injured. CO Mayank Dwivedi and senior officials reached the spot and took information about the incident.
Announcement of compensation of Rs 5 lakh to the family of the deceased
In this regard, CO Mayank Dirvedi told why the incident happened. He is being investigated. Meanwhile, Deputy District Officer Vivekananda Mishra said that Rs 2 lakh compensation will be given to the injured and Rs 5 lakh compensation will be given to the family of the deceased.
