Easy Trip Planners Limited announced a strategic collaboration with the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) and Sanatan AI, along with the Bhagva platform, to launch an entrepreneurship initiative targeting India’s spiritual services sector. The stock responded sharply, rising 9.40 per cent to ₹6.40 on the NSE on Wednesday, against a previous close of ₹5.85.
The initiative, branded as “1 Panchayat – 1 Pandit – SANATANAI Shop on Wheels by EMT,” aims to deploy mobile, EV-based service units across up to 2 lakh Panchayats over five years. Each unit is designed to serve as a localized spiritual commerce hub offering pooja bookings, pooja samagri, religious travel planning, virtual darshan, and facilitation of kathas and jagrans.
EaseMyTrip’s specific role in the collaboration is to integrate religious and pilgrimage travel services into the wider ecosystem, extending its distribution network through a decentralized, franchise-led model. The company has been actively building its presence in the religious tourism segment.
The program targets Pandits, Pujaris, and Sanskrit-trained youth, enabling them to become certified micro-entrepreneurs through structured training and standardized service delivery. Financing for eligible participants will be facilitated through a MUDRA-linked framework.
Nishant Pitti, Founder and Chairman of EaseMyTrip, described the initiative as aimed at transitioning traditional service providers into a formalized economic system, with skill development and market access as central pillars.
