This 26 year old girl is becoming an inspiration for those village girls who want to do something in life through sports. Archana Saini is a cricketer and despite social taunts, Archana has made a name for herself in women’s cricket on the basis of her passion and hard work. Till now, Archana has brought success to her team by participating in dozens of tournaments. Now she is working hard day and night with the dream of getting selected in the Indian team and WPL team.

Archana’s father Kailash Chand Saini is a driver by profession, while mother Teeja Devi is a housewife. Archana, who belongs to an ordinary family, completed her primary education till class 10 from the government school of Bhojlawa Chaumu. Whereas he studied classes 11 and 12 from a private school in Chaumu. Archana’s Cricket I had fondness for it since childhood. While studying in school, she used to come early before class and practice on the cricket ground even after school was over.

Started playing cricket at the age of seven

Archana told that in her childhood, her brother and other boys used to play cricket in the fields, seeing them she too wanted to play cricket. When she was just 7 years old, she started playing cricket with her brothers. During this period he also participated in school and college cricket tournaments. His passion for sports inspired him to join a cricket academy in Chaumu in 2015. Archana tells that she was the only female player in the academy, so she had to practice with the boys only. Due to this, he had to face taunts many times from people and relatives.

Archana told that she has played National Under-19 and 23 tournaments, in which she also got price money due to her excellent performance. After this, he continuously since 2018 Rajasthan Playing Senior Ranji Trophy on behalf of the team. Apart from this, she has also represented India in the tournament in Sri Lanka in 2023. Archana told that Chaumu is the first girl from the area, who started playing state cricket tournament. Today, after seeing him, dozens of girls have started playing cricket. Archana considers Indian cricketer Virat Kohli as her idol.
