
A woman and her six-year-old daughter were brutally murdered in Bhim Colony, Ali Vihar of Sarita Vihar police station in the capital Delhi. The bodies of both were found in the bed box. Neighbors informed the police when foul smell came from the room. The post-mortem revealed that the murder was caused by strangulation. The police suspect Deendayal, his nephew who lives in the neighbourhood, who is absconding after the incident. If he is caught, the reasons for the murder will be known. Sarita Vihar police have registered the case and started searching for the nephew. It is being told that the accused nephew liked his aunt.
South-East District Police Deputy Commissioner Dr. Hemant Tiwari said, the PCR call came at Sarita Vihar police station at 10.30 pm on Friday night. The caller informed that two dead bodies were found in a house in Bhim Colony, Ali Vihar. The team reached the spot on information. Inside the house, the bodies of the woman and a six-year-old girl were found hidden in the storage box of the bed. The bodies were sent to AIIMS for postmortem. The deceased have been identified as 35-year-old Jyoti, wife of Sudarshan and their six-year-old daughter. Crime and FSL teams processed the crime scene and collected necessary clues. Initial medical examination did not reveal any obvious external wounds. The post-mortem examination conducted on February 21 revealed the cause of death to be strangulation and suffocation.
The police are waiting for the postmortem report to know the exact cause of death. Several police teams have been formed to arrest the accused and raids are being conducted continuously at possible locations. Police officials said that soon the case will be revealed and the main accused nephew will be arrested. Police are continuously interrogating Sudarshan.

According to South-Eastern District Police officials, Sudarshan is originally a resident of Madhubani, Bihar. He works in a factory in Okhla. When he reached home on Friday night, he saw the dead bodies and informed the police. Initial investigation by the police revealed that there was a friendship between Deendayal and his aunt. Now aunt was ignoring him. Deendayal was not liking this.
