
There was chaos on Sunday morning due to a massive fire in Nature Bazaar located in Andheria Mod area of Delhi. The flames engulfed about 40 shops in no time, causing a loss worth lakhs. There is no information about any casualty so far in the accident. The cause of the fire is not yet known.
The fire department received information about the fire in Nature Bazaar located at Andheria Mor at around 7.37 am. As soon as the information was received, the fire department came into action and immediately 10 fire engines were sent to the spot. Seeing the magnitude of the fire, fire brigade personnel immediately took charge and started efforts on a war footing to control the fire.

The fire department teams took prompt action and worked hard to stop the fire from spreading and the fire was completely controlled. However, around 40 shops were completely gutted in the fire. The cause of the fire is not yet known and investigation is ongoing.
Although no loss of life or property has been reported, the fire has caused huge financial loss to traders. The goods, cash and other valuables kept in the burnt shops were destroyed in the fire. The administration has started the process of assessing the damage.
Instructions have been given to the concerned authorities to investigate the cause of the fire. Efforts are being made to find out whether the fire broke out due to a short circuit, or due to some other reason, or it is the result of some conspiracy. Police and fire department teams are jointly investigating this matter in depth.
