Delhi Assembly Election 2025: Political parties have intensified preparations for Delhi Assembly elections. BJP launched the ‘Sankalp Patra’ campaign from Saturday. Suggestions will be taken from voters to prepare the draft manifesto. Senior leaders including Delhi BJP election in-charge Baijayant Panda flagged off 14 vans and sent them to different assembly constituencies. Will take feedback from the van to be added to the manifesto.

BJP has also released posters and hoardings to corner the ruling Aam Aadmi Party. A new slogan ‘Now we will not tolerate, we will change’ has also been given for the election campaign. By highlighting issues like pollution in Delhi, alleged liquor scandal, Sheeshmahal, classroom construction scam, BJP is exposing the AAP government. BJP leaders say that the manifesto will include the opinions of all sections. Feedback from different sections of people will be taken and added to the manifesto.

Which issues can be included in BJP’s manifesto?

There will be more focus on development and schemes that will benefit in the future. It is believed that along with education, health, drinking water, roads, electricity, cleaning of Yamuna will also be an important issue in BJP’s resolution letter or manifesto. Delhi Legislative Assembly elections are to be held in the month of February next year. BJP is making every effort to oust the ruling AAP from power.

From 1998 to 2013, Congress was strong in Delhi. Congress’s performance in the subsequent assembly elections was disappointing. Now Congress also seems to be contesting the elections strongly. On the lines of Bharat Jodo Yatra, Congress is hopeful of positive election results from Delhi Nyay Yatra. Before the assembly elections, Aam Aadmi Party is also cornering BJP on the law and order issue of Delhi. AAP is attacking the central government against the increasing crime in Delhi.
