Shadab Chaudhary/Mandsaur: The work of the overbridge being built at a cost of Rs 30 crore on Sanjeet Naka in the city has not been completed yet. The Bhoomi Pujan of this overbridge was done in the year 2018. But today even after half of the year 2023 has passed, the work has not been completed. Therefore, people of more than a dozen villages including about 15 colonies are facing problems every day. Residents around the over bridge are forced to cross the tracks, risking their lives.

This bridge is in discussions regarding the claims of the department and the MLA. MLA Yashpal Singh Sisodia had given an ultimatum to complete the bridge work by March 2023, but the work was not completed, then this matter was raised during the budget session in the Assembly House. The departmental minister had claimed that the work would be completed in the month of June. Now after the promise of the MLA, the deadline of the departmental minister has also ended, but the work is still incomplete. Due to the proximity of the railway station to Sanjeet Naka, there is more traffic of trains here. In such a situation, people are risking their lives by crossing the railway tracks.

The company was blacklisted

According to the information, the kindness of the officers is taking a toll on the blacklisted company. The company constructing the overbridge has been given notices several times due to delay, but no action has been taken even once. The company has even been blacklisted.
