CM Yogi furious over President Murmu’s insult in Bengal, calls TMC ‘arrogant’, asks to apologise.

President of the country in West Bengal Draupadi Murmu Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh regarding alleged misbehavior with Yogi Adityanath Has made a strong attack on Trinamool Congress (TMC) and Mamata Banerjee government. Issuing a strong statement on the social media platform ‘X’, CM Yogi has termed this incident as extremely unfortunate, condemnable and an unforgivable crime.

Chief Minister Yogi clarified in his statement that this is not an insult to just one person holding the highest constitutional post of the country. He has called it a direct blow to Indian democracy, mother power and the identity of the entire tribal society. President Murmu comes from the Santhal tribe, and Yogi has termed this as TMC’s direct prejudice towards ‘Santhal culture’.

Strong criticism of TMC’s ‘petty mentality’

In his post, Chief Minister Adityanath has strongly criticized the ruling party of West Bengal (TMC). He clarified that the post of President is a symbol of the highest constitutional dignity of the Republic of India and any kind of insensitivity or playing with the honor of this post is absolutely not acceptable to the country. CM Yogi said in strong words that this indecent conduct of TMC clearly exposes their political arrogance and petty mentality.

‘Bengal government should issue a public apology without any delay’

Saying that the entire country is hurt by this act, the UP Chief Minister has demanded an immediate apology from the Mamata Banerjee government. He said in strong words that the West Bengal government should publicly apologize to the entire country without any delay for its indecent and unconstitutional conduct.

After this tough stance of CM Yogi, the political dispute between BJP and TMC has intensified. BJP is raising this issue at the national level by linking it with the tribal society and the respect of half the population (women). Political analysts believe that this issue of insulting the highest office like President can bring a big earthquake in the politics of Bengal in the coming days.
