The brutal murder of a BJP leader on Tuesday morning in Bargadwa of Chiluatal police station area of Gorakhpur has created a sensation in the area. BJP leader Rajkumar Chauhan, who was out on a morning walk, was targeted.
According to eyewitnesses, the attackers killed him by stabbing him with a knife. As soon as information about the incident was received, there was panic in the police department. Senior police officers reached the spot with heavy police force.
The forensic team was also immediately called, which inspected the incident site closely and collected important evidence. The police have taken the body into custody and sent it for post-mortem, so that the cause of death can be ascertained accurately.
