A very surprising incident has come to light from Munger district of Bihar. On Sunday, in Dakshin Tola located in Prasannado village of the block, a cow gave birth to a wonderful calf with two mouths and four eyes. The news of the birth of this strange calf spread like wildfire in the area, after which a huge crowd of people gathered to see it.
According to the information, this cow belongs to Amit Singh alias Tinku (son of late Baikunth Singh), resident of Prasannado village. Animal farmer Amit Singh told that his cow has given birth to normal calves many times before, but this time the birth is completely different and surprising. The good thing is that at present this rare calf is alive and efforts are being made to keep it safe.
People are believing divine miracle
There is immense enthusiasm and faith among the villagers regarding this wonder. Villagers Himanshu Kumar Singh and Neeraj Singh Tappu told that as soon as the news of this two-headed calf came, people from nearby villages also started reaching Prasannado. Some people are considering it as a unique miracle of nature, while many are worshiping it considering it to be a divine sign and a form of God. The level of faith of the people is such that they are sitting near the calf and feeding it milk with the help of spoon and bottle.
What does science say?
Amidst these talks of faith and miracles, veterinarians have their own scientific logic. According to experts, this type of birth is called ‘Congenital Anomaly’ or Polycephaly. This condition arises due to improper division of the embryo during pregnancy or due to genetic reasons. The lifespan of such animals is usually very short.
However, due to such incidents being extremely rare in rural areas, people are deeply curious about it and this calf has become a topic of discussion in the entire Munger region.
