There is tremendous celebration of Holi today in Bharatpur district of Rajasthan. Children, youth, women and men all were seen drenched in the fun of Holi. As soon as the morning came, people came out of their homes carrying bags of gulal and were seen applying gulal to each other and wishing Happy Holi.
At various places, groups of mastans were seen celebrating Holi in their own unique style. An atmosphere of joy was seen in every locality and every village. Government employees were also seen participating in this Holikotsav.
Holi fun spread at collector’s residence also
People were also seen playing Holi by applying gulal at the District Collector’s residence. On this occasion, District Collector Qamar Chaudhary said that he is feeling proud by playing Holi among the people of Bharatpur. He said that his effort is to ensure proper development of Bharatpur by creating brotherhood with everyone. The Collector appealed to the people of Bharatpur to celebrate the festival of Holi with mutual brotherhood and harmony.
Police deployed at every nook and corner, special vigil on hoodlums
Strict security arrangements have also been made regarding Holi. Policemen were seen deployed at every nook and corner of the city. Apart from the mounted police, personnel of RAC and several police stations were seen deployed with alertness. SP Digant Anand has taken security very seriously and special attention is being kept especially on drunkards and hooligans. Police personnel and officers are deployed with full alertness in the security arrangements.
Police holi will be held in police line tomorrow
Police Holi will be played tomorrow in Police Lines in which police personnel and officers will celebrate this festival of brotherhood by playing Holi together. This festival of Holi in Bharatpur has once again emerged as a symbol of social unity and mutual love where people of every section were seen immersed together in the fun of colors.
