
New Delhi. Mumbai batsman Shreyas Iyer has informed the Indian Cricket Board and Chief Selector Ajit Agarkar that he now wants to take a break from red ball cricket and first class cricket. Giving updates on Iyer’s decision to take the break, the BCCI said that this batsman of India will be away from red ball cricket for six months. He has taken this decision in view of the problem in the back. BCCI wrote, Shreyas Iyer has informed the BCCI about his decision to take a six -month break from the red ball cricket. After undergoing back surgery in Britain and recovering well, he has repeatedly experienced back cramps and stiffness while playing in long format.
