The prize money to be given to the team has been announced by the board. According to the information, BCCI on Tuesday announced a cash reward for Team India winning the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced a cash reward of Rs 131 crore to Team India after its spectacular victory in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Sunday announced a cash prize of Rs 131 crore for the Indian cricket team after winning the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 for a record third time in Ahmedabad. India defeated New Zealand in the final held at the Narendra Modi Stadium and became the team to retain the trophy for the first time in the history of the tournament. With this victory, India has become the first team to win this tournament three times, further strengthening its place among the most successful teams in this format.

BCCI said in a statement on Tuesday, ‘The Board once again congratulates the players, support staff and selectors on this historic achievement and wishes them continued success in the future.’
