AXISCADES secures ₹80 crore order for LCA Mk1A avionics systems

AXISCADES Technologies Limited announced Monday it has won a production order worth approximately ₹80 crore to supply avionics hardware for Hindustan Aeronautics Limited’s LCA Mk1A fighter aircraft program.

The Bengaluru-based company’s subsidiary, Mistral Solutions, will manufacture and deliver mission computers and smart multifunction displays for the indigenous light combat aircraft. Production will take place at AXISCADES’ recently commissioned facility at Bangalore Aerospace Park near Kempegowda International Airport.

The contract strengthens AXISCADES’ partnership with the Defense Research & Development Organization and HAL, furthering India’s defense indigenisation efforts under the Make in India initiative. C. Manikandan, CEO of Mistral Solutions, said the win positions the group strongly for participation in future defense programs.

AXISCADES, which describes itself as a chip-to-product company, specializes in aerospace, defense, electronics, semiconductor and artificial intelligence solutions. The company operates 17 locations globally with over 3,000 professionals across India, France, Germany, Denmark, the United States and Canada.

Mistral Solutions specializes in high-performance embedded systems and defense electronics, maintaining long-term relationships with India’s defense forces, Ministry of Defence, defense laboratories and public sector undertakings. The company’s portfolio spans weapon systems, avionics, radar, electronic warfare systems, drones and anti-drone systems.

AXISCADES Technologies Limited shares were trading at ₹1,179.60 up by ₹56.10 or 4.99 per cent on NSE today, hitting its upper band in the midday trading.
