
Delhi Police has revealed a case in which the female caretaker hired to take care of the house committed theft by rendering the entire family unconscious. However, Paschim Vihar East police station acted swiftly and arrested the accused woman from Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, within just 24 hours of the incident.
According to the police, on February 26, a PCR call was received from a house in Paschim Vihar area, in which it was told that the caretaker who had come to work in the house was suspected of stealing 30 to 40 thousand rupees. As soon as the information was received, the police team reached the spot and interrogated the family. The family told that due to the ill health of the 59-year-old woman of the house, they had hired a female caretaker through an online agency named Angel Nursing Health Care. The accused started work the same day and remained active in household chores.

Accused woman mixed sleeping pills in food
After preparing and serving lunch, all the members of the house suddenly became unconscious. When the matter seemed suspicious, the police called the mobile FSL team and seized food samples for testing. All the victims were admitted to Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Hospital. On the basis of the complaint, a case was registered at Paschim Vihar East police station on 27 February and investigation was started.
Delhi Police reached Bareilly for technical investigation
During the investigation, the police traced the location of the accused in Bareilly with the help of technical and manual surveillance. The police team immediately reached there and conducted a raid and arrested the woman.
Big revelation made in Delhi Police’s interrogation
During interrogation, the accused told that she had already worked as a caretaker at different places. Noida While on the job, he stole sleeping pills from an elderly woman. After grinding the same medicine, he mixed it in the family’s food so that everyone would become unconscious and he could steal. However, a minor girl of the family did not eat the food and the elderly lady of the house became suspicious of the accused’s actions, due to which his plan was not completely successful.
Recovery and further investigation
At the behest of the accused, the police have recovered Rs 20 thousand in cash. Efforts are on to recover the remaining amount. Police have arrested the accused and seized the cash as case property. According to police officials, further investigation of the case is going on.
