
In Hasanpur Kotwali area of Amroha district of Uttar Pradesh, the matter is gaining momentum after an inspector was accused of misbehaving with a poor cart seller. The allegation is that when Inspector Isham Singh asked for money for juice, he loaded the cart vendor’s coconuts in his car. A CCTV video of this entire incident has also surfaced, in which a home guard is seen keeping a coconut in the police car.
It is being told that when the Home Guard was discussed in this matter, he said that the coconuts were kept in the car only on the instructions of the Inspector. After the video of this matter went viral, the inspector is being asked to put him on the line, but till now no official statement has been received regarding this incident.
Anger among traders regarding the incident
On getting information about the incident, business leader Mukesh Gupta reached the spot and raised his voice in support of the poor street vendor. He said that this was the first time that he had seen a policeman treating a poor street vendor in this manner. Mukesh Gupta warned that harassment of small traders will not be tolerated at any cost. If immediate action is not taken in this matter, the business organization will be forced to launch a major agitation.

At present, no official statement has come out from the accused inspector or police officers in this entire matter, but after the CCTV video surfaced, the matter has become a topic of discussion. People are strongly criticizing this action of the police. According to him, if officers and employees in uniform behave like this with a poor person then who will follow the law. Strict action is also being demanded in this matter.
