Holi is celebrated in the entire country including Uttar Pradesh. In this sequence, National President of Samajwadi Party and former Chief Minister of UP Akhilesh Yadav celebrated the festival with his family and supporters in his native village Saifai in Etawah.
During this, SP Chief said that Mahatma Gandhi showed us the path of truth and non-violence. Who knows how many countries adopted this path. Not only was it adopted but many countries became independent due to it. Ours is the country which gave the message of peace to the whole world. The slogan of live and let live came from this country. Not only did they adopt it but they took the society in a new direction by considering it as a religion.
The Kannauj MP said that as beautiful as our society is, as excellent as our Hindustanihood is, it keeps us as our brotherhood. Every festival shows us a path. Every festival gives the message of victory against injustice. The festival is celebrated when sinners are destroyed.
Be colorful in your mind too – Akhilesh
You and I would not have seen anywhere on earth such a festival of colors as is celebrated in India. This festival of India unites us and this festival gives us the message that we all should be multi-coloured. Be colorful in your mind also.
In Saifai, Akhilesh said that somewhere before the land battle, a battle is being fought in the name of technology. The President of a country was sitting in his meeting, when a bomb came and went away killing everyone. The war is still going on. Information about the war is coming to us. Our people are also being affected by this. We want to say today that the Samajwadi Party and the socialist ideology have never been in favor of war. Wherever there is war, we are against it, there should be no war.
