During this, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis clearly said in the House that if any kind of conspiracy is revealed in this plane crash, then the culprits will not be spared under any circumstances and strict action will be taken against them.
The Chief Minister said that if any suspicion of conspiracy comes to light in this case, “whoever has done this, we will find him out.” He also alleged that the Karnataka government has registered an FIR in this matter only to defame Maharashtra and sent it to the state.
Will demand investigation from CBI- Devendra Fadnavis
CM Fadnavis further said, “After the assembly session is over, he will meet the Union Home Minister along with Deputy Chief Minister Sunetra Pawar and demand a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) investigation in this matter.” The Chief Minister was replying to the discussion on the motion brought by the opposition last week.
AAIB’s interim report received – Devendra Fadnavis
Giving information, Maharashtra CM said that the interim report of the Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB) regarding this plane crash has been received, but only after the final report comes, all the reasons and circumstances of the accident will be completely revealed. He said, “The efforts that MLA Rohit Pawar is making regarding this matter are commendable, but it is also important to understand that everyone has the desire to bring out the truth about this incident.”
Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis also clarified that after any accident, ADR (Accidental Death Report) is first registered. After this, if any mistake, negligence or accident is revealed in the investigation, then only FIR is registered.
Some technical reasons behind the accident- Fadnavis
Quoting the interim report, the Chief Minister said that some technical reasons have emerged behind this accident. According to the report, lack of modern equipment at Baramati airport and lack of necessary visibility are the main reasons for the accident. He also told that the breath analysis report of the pilot of the plane has come completely clean.
CM gave information about postmortem and DNA report
The Chief Minister informed the House that the postmortem reports of the five people who lost their lives in this accident have been received. According to reports, he died due to serious injuries and burns. Apart from this, DNA samples of all the deceased have been matched with their family members and this has been confirmed in the report. The Chief Minister also clarified that during the investigation, no poison, explosive material or extra fuel canisters were found in the plane.
What did CM say on law and order and technical reforms?
In his speech, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis also mentioned the implementation of the Indian Judicial Code (BNS) implemented in the state. He said that Maharashtra ranks second in the country in terms of effective implementation of this law. The use of e-Saksh system in the state has increased by 84 percent. Due to this, the rate of filing chargesheet on time has also improved and the percentage of conviction has reached 78 percent.
Along with this, the Chief Minister said that ‘Mahanetra’ policy is being implemented to bring CCTV cameras installed at various places in the state under unified control. Under this system, the surveillance system will be further strengthened by connecting both government and private CCTV cameras together.
