
Questions are being raised continuously on Ajit Pawar plane crash. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis announced that a request has been made to investigate the matter by CBI. Fadnavis said that it is necessary to answer all the questions arising regarding this accident. In the press conference held on the eve of the budget session, he made it clear that the government wants to remove any kind of doubt.
Fadnavis said that he had received a letter from ally NCP demanding a CBI inquiry. After this he spoke to Union Home Minister Amit Shah. He said that along with the investigation by DGCA and State CID, now CBI will also investigate the case. On January 28, the chartered plane crashed during landing near Baramati in Pune district, killing Ajit Pawar and four others.

Rohit Pawar also raised questions
NCP (SP) leader Rohit Pawar has raised many questions regarding the accident. He has written a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi demanding the resignation of the Civil Aviation Minister. Rohit Pawar has also raised questions about the aircraft’s owner company VSR and its alleged relations. He expressed apprehension that there could be something wrong in the matter.
Government’s response
The Chief Minister said that DGCA is auditing VSR Company and all the logbooks are being examined. He said that speculations should be avoided until the investigation report comes. Fadnavis also said that the Civil Aviation Ministry and DGCA have nothing to hide. He said that this investigation is important for the security of all the leaders.
Before the budget session, the opposition has targeted the government. The absence of NCP (SP) leaders in the meeting of Maha Vikas Aghadi became a topic of discussion. The opposition also boycotted the government’s tea party. It is believed that the issue of the plane crash will be raised strongly during the session. The government has reiterated that a fair and transparent investigation will be ensured.
