
India has successfully tested the launching of Agni Prime missile train. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh gave information about this on Thursday morning. He posted on X and told that the Agni Prime missile of the medium range can be fired with a rail -based mobile launcher system. It can penetrate any target in the range of 2000 km by launching the next generation missile train itself.
Rajnath Singh’s post further stated, “This missile is equipped with many more important features. It was specially designed with a rail-based mobile launcher. This is the first launch of its kind, which has the potential to run on the rail network without any re-condition.
India has carried out the successful launch of intermediate range agni-prime missile from a railway based mobile launcher system. This next generation missile is designed to cover a range up to 2000 km and is equipped with various advanced features.

This successful flight test has included India into a group of select countries that have the ability to launch missiles from mobile rail networks.
The Defense Minister said that this system provides facility to launch during a short response time. He congratulated DRDO, Strategic Force Command (SFC) and Armed Forces on successful tests of medium-distance fire-prime missiles.
