CRPS is a very mysterious and painful disease, often called “suicide disease”. It usually starts after an injury, but the pain lasts more than normal injury and longer. In this difficult period, Alexandra’s biggest support has become her husband Cooper. Every morning he prepares smoothies for them, organizes their medicines and whenever the pain increases, he comes to the “full caretaker mode” and takes care of them. Many times when the condition deteriorated, Cooper calls the nurse at home so that he can be saved from the problem of going to the hospital.

People do trolls
Alexandra is emotional and says- “I am still able to live a normal life only because of Cooper. He gives me the reason for living.” However, Alexandra also has to face trolling on social media many times about his illness. Many people accuse them of showing the disease as they look normal. On this, she says- “There is no face of pain. I want to show people how life is with chronic disease, even good days and very bad days.” Today Alexandra wants his story to be expected for others. She says- “Chronic disease does not mean the end of life. There is hope left in every situation.”
