The priest says that Durga statue is never kept on Sharadiya Navratri in Bachoun village. Once the Thakur Samaj of the village had placed the Durga statue and the entire pandal was burnt. After this, mother Kalka Devi said in a dream, ‘I am in this village. There will be no other statue installed here. In Navratri, lakhs of devotees come here to visit Maa Kalka Devi.
