India won the final Super-8 match of the T-20 World Cup with 4 balls remaining. Sanju Samson was the hero of the match, who played an excellent inning of 97 runs. Apart from Sanju, only Tilak Verma was the one who supported Samson by scoring important 27 runs but for a short while. Wickets kept falling from one side, but Sanju stood firm and ultimately led the team to victory.

In a match which is do or die for any team, such performance of the team will raise questions on any world class team. Wickets kept falling at regular intervals for the Indian team chasing 196 runs. After the dismissal of Abhishek and Ishaan, even the prediction table started believing that India’s chance of victory was only 27 percent, whereas West Indies’ victory percent was 73 percent. Even if we leave out this match, except one or two matches since the beginning of the World Cup, the situation has been the same in most of the matches. The Indian team won the match, but team effort was not visible in any match. Only one or two players were the heroes of the victory.

In this match played in Delhi on 12 February, India won by 93 runs. India had scored 209 runs in the match. Indian batsmen performed well in this match. India’s bowling also showed its edge in the match, Varun Chakraborty took 3 wickets for 7 runs in 2 overs, while Hardik Pandya and Akshar Patel took 2 wickets each. Bumrah and Arshdeep also got one wicket each.

India won the match by 61 runs. This was a match where Abhishek Sharma was out for zero for the second consecutive time, but little team effort was visible in the match. In that match, Surya Kumar Yadav had scored 32 runs, while Tilak Verma had contributed 25 runs and Shivam Dubey had contributed 27 runs.
