US President Donald Trump has released a new design of a special commemorative US passport to be issued on the occasion of the country’s 250th anniversary. Trump’s photo has also been included in this limited edition passport. While sharing its sample on his social media platform Truth Social, he wrote, ‘It is written in America’s new passport – Welcome, but behave well’.

In the released design, President Trump’s photo is shown on one page of the passport. The text of America’s historic Declaration of Independence is given on the back of the photo and Trump’s signature is also embossed below. The famous painting ‘The Declaration of Independence’ by the famous painter John Trumbull is printed on the front page.
It has been told that this picture of Trump is inspired by his official picture in the Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery. Earlier this year, the initial design released by the US State Department used a different picture of Trump. Later, the White House also shared the same design on social media platform X and wrote, ‘New American passport to commemorate America’s 250th anniversary’.
Special passport on America’s 250th anniversary
This special passport was first announced in April as part of national celebrations of America’s 250th anniversary. According to officials, this passport has special artworks and better quality photographs on the front, back and inside covers.
Who will get this special passport?
US officials said that this limited edition will first be made available to people renewing their passports from the Washington Passport Agency. At the same time, those applying online or applying from other passport centers will get the passport of the existing design only.

What’s on a Current US Passport Right Now?
The inside cover of the current US passport features artwork by Francis Scott Key and lines from the US national anthem. The new commemorative edition replaces it with new artwork depicting America’s independence and 250 years of history.
