Monsoon conference session is starting from today (22 June) in Maharashtra. On this occasion, Deputy Chief Minister Sunetra Ajit Pawar said that the state government is fully committed to providing women farmers their rights and respect. For this purpose, an important bill related to women farmers will be introduced in this monsoon session. He expressed confidence that this monsoon session will conclude in a positive atmosphere. Sunetra Ajit Pawar Said that this year the United Nations has declared the International Year of Women Farmers, which is an important step to honor the contribution of women farmers at the global level.
Opposition boycotted the tea program organized in monsoon session
It is noteworthy that the opposition has boycotted the tea program organized on the eve of the monsoon session. Deputy Chief Minister Sunetra Pawar said that the tea-paan program organized on the eve of the Assembly session is not just a formal event, but an effective medium of communication between the ruling party and the opposition. Dialogue has special importance in democracy and solving problems is possible only through dialogue.
Issues related to public interest and development work are expected to be discussed in the session.
The Deputy Chief Minister said that the Legislature is the highest platform to express the expectations, problems and aspirations of the people. In this session, there is expected to be a wide discussion on important issues related to public interest, development works and progress of the state. He clarified that the government is in favor of finding solutions by meaningfully discussing public issues. During the monsoon session, the government will play a positive and constructive role on issues related to farmers, laborers, women, youth, industry, education, health and infrastructure.
