Neet-2026: Crpf-cisf jawans to reach 551 cities with confidentiality, CAPF jawans will also be present in aircraft – Neet Re Exam 2026 Crpf Cisf Jawans To Reach In 551 Cities With Confidential Exam Items With Capf On Aircraft

The responsibility of transportation of confidential material of NEET-2026 examination has been given to the central paramilitary forces CRPF and CISF. These two central forces will be responsible for delivering the confidential material of NEET exam to 551 cities in a leakproof manner. CAPF jawans will also be present in the airplane in which the confidential material of the examination will be carried.

As part of security arrangements, the process of deployment of CAPF personnel and nomination of nodal officer has been started. This deployment is being done as per the request made to the DG of NTA on June 4. The re-examination of NEET is scheduled to be conducted on June 21 at examination centers across the country.

The confidential content of the examination is to be delivered from the origin hub located in Hyderabad and Ahmedabad to approximately 551 hub cities through a ‘hub-and-spoke’ network. This network includes Origin Hub, Leg-1 Hub, Leg-2 Hub and Leg-3 Hub. Both air and road transportation will be used in this.

Further, it has also been said that there is a need to put in place a two-tier security system for the safe transportation and handling of confidential examination material (which includes question papers and post-examination OMR answer sheets). In this regard, assistance has been sought from CAPFs for deployment of security personnel at critical stages of transportation and handling of the said material.

1. Arrangement of security escort:

  • Necessary CAPF personnel may be deployed to provide second layer of security during transportation and handling of confidential NEET examination material at hubs, airports, helipads and other important locations identified in collaboration with NTA. To ensure two-layer security in movement of aircraft/helicopters from Origin Hub, Leg-1 Hub, Leg-2 Hub and Leg-3 Hub, CRPF and CISF personnel should be deployed.

2. Nomination of personnel for air movement:

  • Under the two-layer security arrangement, nominate suitable CRPF and CISF personnel to accompany the baggage in the aircraft/helicopter operating from Origin Hub, Leg-1 Hub, Leg-2 Hub and Leg-3 Hub. Details of nominated personnel may be shared with the Joint Secretary (Air) of the Ministry of Defense to obtain necessary clearance for travel in Air Force aircraft. A copy of this can also be sent to the postal department for coordination purposes.

3. Adherence to IAF Safety Rules:

  • As per Indian Air Force advisory, CAPF personnel carrying service weapons while on duty will have to surrender their weapons before boarding the aircraft. The deposited weapons will be kept safe. Will be returned to the destination airport as per prescribed procedures.

4. Nomination of Nodal Officer:

  • A nodal officer will be nominated at CRPF and CISF headquarters for overall coordination with the Postal Department and NTA. Information about the nominated nodal officer should be given to this ministry as soon as possible and circulated among all concerned stakeholders so that coordination and planning can be done easily. On behalf of NTA, Ashish Gupta, Director (Mobile: 9899737259) will act as the designated contact person for coordination.

5. Sharing of State-wise Single Point of Contact information:

  • Share information with the concerned Chief Postmaster General/Postmaster General and field units with State-wise single point of contact for coordination.

6.Deployment Schedule:

  • The deployment of CAPF personnel for transportation and delivery of question papers is expected to begin from June 11 and continue till June 19. Subsequently, the work of transportation of OMR sheets and other examination related materials (reverse logistics operation) is expected to begin from the evening of June 21, which will also require deployment of CAPFs. Detailed schedule, locations and movement plans will be informed separately.
