Due to security reasons, Kuwait has stopped air traffic and flights have been diverted to other airports.
What did Iran say?
At the same time, Iran’s government media ‘Press TV’ has made a different claim. Iran’s Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) says that they carried out this attack as a retaliatory action. According to Iran, the US targeted one of its oil tankers near the Strait of Hormuz and a communications tower on Qashm Island. In response, Iran fired missiles and drones at the headquarters of the US Navy’s Fifth Fleet in Bahrain and a regional airbase.
