In a phone conversation, Al Sisi said Egypt is in constant and intensive contact with various relevant parties to help reach a comprehensive agreement between the US and Iran, Xinhua news agency reported. He said that Egypt’s stance in this matter is based on the principles of international law and respect for the sovereignty of countries and their resources.
Hormuz Strait should remain open- Macron
French President Macron said that France is making efforts to establish lasting peace in the region and prevent the Middle East from slipping into anarchy. He also stressed that the Strait of Hormuz should remain open and there should be no restriction on the movement of ships through there. Earlier American President donald trump Had said that America and Iran have come very close to a nuclear agreement. However, he also warned that if talks are not successful then military action will also remain an option.

In an interview with Fox News, Trump said that his government’s biggest priority is to ensure that Iran can never acquire nuclear weapons. Trump said that we are close to a very good agreement. If this agreement is reached then it will be good, otherwise we will have to move ahead on the military option. He claimed that Iran has agreed to conditions under which it will not develop or acquire nuclear weapons.
Trump said that I asked what would happen if you buy nuclear weapons from someone else? Now this also includes that we will neither make nor buy nuclear weapons in any way. The President described the talks as difficult, but said progress was being made slowly. He said that they are going to have very tough talks, it takes time but gradually we feel that we are moving towards our destination.
