Hopes of peace are over: All-round attack on Ukraine by Russian drones and missiles, all Trump’s efforts failed – Russia Ukraine War Air Strikes Escalation Zelenskyy Putin Glide Bomb Chinese Ship Odessa Attack Yermak Case

The ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine has now reached a very dangerous point. The Russian army has carried out a massive drone and missile attack overnight targeting eight states of Ukraine. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Monday that in this latest air attack, Russia fired 524 destructive drones and 22 ballistic and cruise missiles. More than 24 civilians have been injured in this heavy shelling, including three children. According to local officials, the city of Dnipro in central Ukraine and its surrounding areas were the most devastated by the attack.

Recently, US President Donald Trump had appealed to both the countries for a ceasefire. Trump had asked Zelensky and Putin to stop the war, but it had no effect. Despite US efforts there is no sign of a peace agreement. Last week too, Russia reduced a multi-storey building in Kiev to rubble, where 24 people died.

Ukraine targeted Russia’s economic targets

In more than four years of war, Ukraine has significantly strengthened its long-range strike capability. Ukraine is now targeting Russia’s oil bases and hinterland. On Sunday, Ukraine carried out the largest ever drone attack on Russia. A total of four people were killed, including three near Moscow. The Russian Defense Ministry claims they shot down or jammed more than 1,000 Ukrainian drones in 24 hours, including 80 headed toward Moscow.

Meanwhile, Ukraine’s Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov has made a big announcement. Ukraine has developed its first indigenous glide bomb. This bomb has a 250 kg warhead. It is capable of destroying bunkers and command posts built dozens of kilometers behind the front. Ukrainian pilots are currently training in real combat conditions.

Zelensky saw a big change

President Zelensky believes that their long-range strike capability has changed the entire picture of war. The world’s perspective is also changing now. On the other hand, the Russian Defense Ministry claimed that they had carried out precise missile strikes on Ukrainian arms factories, energy centers and ports and that all their targets were hit. These continuous attacks put heavy pressure on Ukraine’s air defense system. Amid this tension, Russian President Vladimir Putin is scheduled to meet Chinese leader Xi Jinping in Beijing this week. But just before the visit, Ukraine’s Navy has claimed that a Russian drone has targeted a Chinese-owned cargo ship in the Black Sea near Odessa.
