A sensational case of brutally murdering a girl and cutting her body into six pieces has come to light in Uttar Pradesh’s capital Lucknow. The killers packed his decapitated torso in a box and his hands and legs in polythene, kept them in a bag and left them in the sleeper bogie of Chhapra-Gomtinagar Express.

The matter came to light when the train reached Gomtinagar railway station in Lucknow on Sunday morning. Five pieces of the body were recovered, but the head was missing. According to GRP, when the train reached Gomtinagar station, it was reported that there were unclaimed boxes and bags lying in sleeper coach S-1.

When the box was opened, the torso of a woman aged 25-30 years was found in it, which left people stunned. Hands and feet packed in polythene were recovered from a bag kept nearby. Forensic team was immediately called for investigation.

ACP Railway Rohit Mishra said that after registering the case, three teams have been given the responsibility of uncovering the murder case. The girl has not been identified. The body has been sent for post-mortem. Details of passengers with reserved tickets in the bogie have been taken. However, people with normal tickets were also on board. This may cause problems in investigation.

CCTVs of 20 stations will be checked

Chhapra-Gomtinagar train passes through 20 stations and completes the journey in 12 hours. CCTV footage of the stations on the route is being examined to find out who boarded the bogie carrying the box.
