Due to increasing temperature day by day the weather is becoming harsh. An increase in temperature was recorded in the entire state on Saturday. The hottest was Banda where the maximum temperature was recorded at 44.8 degrees. According to the Meteorological Department, yellow alert has been issued in the state, while orange alert has also been issued in some districts of the southern region. At present, there is no sign of relief in temperature. The temperature is expected to increase by 2 to 4 degrees in the next 4-5 days.
According to the Zonal Meteorological Centre, in the absence of any effective weather system in the state, the weather is likely to remain mainly dry during the next 4-5 days. Senior meteorologist Atul Kumar Singh said that due to increase in radiative heating the temperature will increase by 2-4 degrees. As a result, another round of heat wave will start from the southern part of the state, which will reach some places in the state during May 19-22 with a gradual increase in area and intensity. During this period, there is a possibility of severe heat wave at some places in the southern part of the state. In view of this, orange alert has been issued for some districts of the southern part of the state. After this, there is a possibility of partial reduction due to slight change in temperature.
