The weather changed in Tehri in the afternoon and it rained heavily. The water of sudden heavy rain in Naughar village of Dhanaulti tehsil area in Jaunpur block entered the shop of Kulveer Singh Nakchwal in Billondi Pul market. Due to which they have suffered a lot of loss.
Whereas Nagun-Bhawan-Dehradun State Highway remained blocked for a long time due to accumulation of debris on the road. Due to debris filling the road at Bilondi bridge, Cabinet Minister Bharat Singh Choudhary and Dhanaulti MLA Pritam Singh Panwar, who were going from there, were stuck there for hours.
Due to sudden heavy rain in Jaunpur area in the afternoon, the water level of Aglad river also increased. Revenue sub-inspector Abbuj Chaudhary, who reached the spot after receiving information about water entering the shops of Billondi Pul market, said that on May 15, there was heavy rain in the area between 3-4 pm. The collected rain water entered Kulveer Singh’s rooms and shop along with the debris. Due to which a lot of goods kept in his house and shop got spoiled.
