Mumbai Indians defeated Punjab Kings by six wickets. Mumbai, chasing the target of 201 runs given by Punjab in the IPL match played on Thursday, won the match by scoring 205 runs. During this, Tilak Verma played an unbeaten inning of 75 runs.

The bowling unit of Punjab Kings has been under question since the beginning of the IPL. The bowlers of the team which scored 200 on the strength of the batsmen failed to defend. An example of this was seen in today’s match, when Mumbai needed 50 runs to win from the last 18 balls and the bowlers failed. Let us tell you that in the IPL match played in Dharamshala on Thursday, after losing the toss, Punjab came to bat first and with the help of Prabhsimran Singh’s half-century, scored 200 runs for eight wickets in 20 overs. In reply, Mumbai scored 205 runs for four wickets in 19.5 overs and won the match. For Punjab, Azmatullah Omarzai took two wickets while Marco Jansen and Yuzvendra Chahal took one wicket each.
