Civil Hospital Director Dr. GP Gupta informed that after getting information about his deteriorating health at around 5 in the morning, doctors had reached his house. Dr Gupta said, “When the doctors reached there, his condition seemed critical. He was brought to the hospital and despite the best efforts of the medical team, he died at 5.55 am.” If sources are to be believed, Prateek Yadav was suffering from a serious lung disease. There was a clot in his lungs and he was undergoing treatment at Medanta Hospital for a long time. On April 30, when Prateek’s condition became critical, he was admitted to a private hospital in Lucknow.

According to the information, on Wednesday morning, Prateek’s brother-in-law and Arpana’s brother Aman Bisht took him to the Civil Hospital, where the doctor declared him dead.
